Marianne Elizabeth White is the principal designer and owner of Marianne Elizabeth Design. With over 15 years in the industry, Marianne is known for her bright, contemporary spaces with an eclectic twist, and her love of colour and graphic prints. Never shying away from something bold, Marianne specializes in creating timeless & exciting spaces that reflect her client’s individual style.

As a firm believer in building strong relationships with her clients, Marianne is intricately involved in every aspect of her projects. You’ll find her on site regularly, whether checking in on the progress of construction, making on-site changes to better suit the client’s needs, or just dropping by to bring coffee, she loves to be hands-on throughout the design and construction process.  

Marianne finds the most gratifying part of her job is developing and evolving relationships with her clients and delivering them their dream home as a result!

Marianne is also a mom to two boys, Nikolai (9) and Dimitri (8). This means you’ll usually be able to find her at the hockey rink on most weekends, at the field for soccer or baseball, or on the slopes teaching the boys to snowboard. Her most favourite place to be in the world is with her boys, wherever that may be.

PRINCIPAL INTERIOR DESIGNER, OWNER

Megan brings over a decade of Design (Megan and Marianne actually met in design school and became fast friends!), Project Management, Marketing and Showhome Design for major Calgary builders. She also has extensive knowledge in Commercial Real Estate, Commercial Development, Corporate Relations and Contract Design. All of Megan’s life she has been naturally drawn to making a space feel like a home. 

Megan’s incredible attention to detail and passion for design, compliment her love for helping clients transform their spaces and achieve their design goals. Megan specializes in Window Coverings and prides herself on not letting the window treatments be an afterthought – rather the added elegance to fully complete and elevate a space.

Megan’s greatest love is her daughter, Paetyn (11) and enjoys spending time at the pool, watching her compete in swimming and triathlons. When she has extra time Megan loves getting back to nature and being outdoors and sometimes indoors in the yoga studio.

INTERIOR DESIGNER/PROJECT COORDINATOR

Nadine brings over 20 years of experience in interior design and renovations to Marianne Elizabeth Design. With a strong background in relationship building and sales, she enjoys connecting with people and helping clients bring their vision to life—from the first idea to the finishing details.

Her career includes owning a Hunter Douglas dealership and extensive work with blinds and window coverings. Nadine’s expertise also spans color consulting, hardware, flooring, plumbing, and countertops, as well as full design services ranging from construction management to interior styling.

Specializing in window treatments, Nadine collaborates closely with clients to ensure each design beautifully balances function and aesthetics. She has an exceptional eye for color, texture, and pattern, creating cohesive and inviting spaces. Her attention to detail extends to bedding, cushions, lighting, and other finishing touches that complete a room. For Nadine, listening to clients and crafting personalized solutions is key to achieving both beauty and harmony in every project.

Outside of work, Nadine loves spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Growing up on a farm east of Airdrie fostered her lifelong love of agriculture and rodeo. She enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants, and sharing laughs with friends. Camping and golf are two of her favorite pastimes, and she’s always ready for a weekend on the golf course, a mountain getaway, or a small-town rodeo adventure.

WINDOW TREATMENT SPECIALIST

Nadine Hawkins

Dee is originally from the UK and has lived in Canada for over 12 years. She is a mom to two wonderful kids, Eva (10) and Elijah (8), who keep life exciting and busy.

Dee has a background in social services, experience as a small business owner, and is currently completing a master’s degree in counselling psychology. She manages the studio’s online presence and is responsible for creating and shaping its digital content. Dee loves the creative challenge of bringing the studio’s work to life in a way that feels polished, fun, and true to the studio’s vision.

Outside of work, Dee enjoys long walks with an 80s playlist or a good podcast, reading, afternoon tea, and proudly counts herself as a Swiftie. She’s also teaching herself to shuffle dance via YouTube videos, much to her kids’ amusement.
