Our Family Zodiac Lineup: Two Libras, a Taurus, a Scorpio, and a Leo on the Way
I recently fell down a bit of an astrology rabbit hole. After looking up all of our zodiac signs, a few things started making a little too much sense.
Reese and I are both Libras, which apparently means we're peace-loving, thoughtful, relationship-focused, and always trying to create balance.
That sounds lovely in theory. In reality, we're raising two very different boys and getting ready to welcome a baby girl.
Our oldest is a Taurus. Steady, loyal, grounded, and determined. He has that calm, dependable energy that makes him seem easygoing...until he's decided something. At that point, there is no rushing him, no convincing him otherwise, and very little room for negotiation. Once his mind is made up, he's committed.
Our middle child is a Scorpio. Not the dramatic, mysterious Scorpio stereotype the internet likes to talk about. He's funny, playful, easygoing, and completely unbothered by most things. He has a way of walking into chaos, making one hilarious comment, and carrying on with his day as though nothing happened. He notices everything, reacts to almost nothing, and somehow remains emotionally cooler than the rest of us.
And now we're preparing to welcome a Leo girl to the mix. A Leo. From what I've read, Leo energy is confident, expressive, warm, charismatic, and not afraid to be noticed. So naturally, I'm expecting a little girl with a strong sense of herself and absolutely no hesitation about sharing her opinions.
A tiny leading lady.
Time will tell!
Which means our household will soon consist of:
• Two Libras trying to keep the peace.
• A grounded Taurus who cannot be rushed.
• A charming Scorpio who cannot be bothered.
• And soon, a Leo girl who likely cannot be ignored.
Whether you believe in astrology or not, I had to laugh at how many of the descriptions felt surprisingly familiar.
Honestly, it explains a lot.
And we cannot wait.
